Neptune - Blue Light in an Eternal Abyss

Neptune is the most distant planet, only a faint blue dot from Earth. Its storms are the strongest in the Solar System, with winds exceeding 2,000 kilometers per hour. In this frozen world, gas is compressed into strange layers of ice, and immense pressure twists everything beyond recognition.

[Extreme Environments]
Methane gives Neptune's atmosphere its deep, suffocating blue. Its Great Dark Spot is an enormous storm, like a mouth swallowing everything. These extremes are deadly: anyone approaching would be torn apart by the terrifying winds.

[Orbit]
Neptune takes about 165 Earth years to orbit the Sun. To a human, that might as well be forever. Here the Sun is little more than a brighter star, unable to light the world. This is true, absolute darkness.
